Ideal for stagiaire, expatriate, international visitor or a hands on –part time student or someone who seeks an interesting challenge getting international work experience whist you also have an extra advantage of either getting a reduction in rent or even a free place in the centre of Brussels for free plus pocket money when you do a full-time internship with our international foundation. Lots of travel involved, drivers license is preferable and some previous work experience in an intl. environment and or arts environment is desired. We seek a specific profile of a person, someone who is flexible, well-organized, results –oriented, extremely practical, able to be very business like, good in follow-up and structuring activities and good in coordinating tasks and making sure things get done .This is a good opportunity for someone ambitious who has an opportunity to grow soon into a right hand (and therefore with more responsibilities) of the founder which due to a part handicap is needing people with a sense of responsibility and who have the potential to grow into more of a managerial function. If the internship which is normally 3 to 6 months works out well, there is an opportunity to have a contract based job.
OPTION 1 get either 40 percent reduction of rent against 15 hours per week assisting in our NGO for the arts (www.musicfoundations.org).

OPTION 2 If someone is full time busy with the foundation they get the apartment or room for free plus 350/450 euro pocket money, plus sometimes use of car, all office facilities, exposure to a lot of international languages, conferences and cultures.

Assistance is required with different tasks in our international NGO dealing with arts as a communication tool for important humanitarian issues such as ecology. Candidates should have experience in either accounting, business studies, journalism, events organization, fundraising, PR, audiovisual productions, PR, music or film world, management, publishing etc., communication studies or be highly practical with good organizational and administrative skills.

Required:Persons should be representative, neat and quiet. You must be fluent in English and preferable also speak either Dutch or French, or German. Excellent computer skills are required, experience in administration and hands-on practical matters such as arranging busy workshedule of the founder –going to many conferences, up-grading visit cards , doing follow-up of int. events, seeking for exposure of foundation plus organizing concerts and other events. Looking for people that can work independently. The 15 hours per week are flexible.
The apartment and the room are located in a nice neighbourhood in Schaarbeek in a nice big elegant house and is available for short (3 month) to long term period. It is fully furnished (550 euro per month plus 50 euro charges), internet access, toilet, kitchenete and shared large bathroom. The room is 450 euro and includes the same facilities. They are in a quiet area, close to the European Commission and the European Parliament, ULB, centre etc.The 2 room quiet apartment has own access to garden, separate toilet and entrance. A deposit of one month is asked for those that take the part-time option.
