Automation Engineer

We are seeking automation engineer to join our Siri Life Extension project in its next phase consisting of maturation and execution of Electrical & Automation projects. You will in that role be referring to the Electrical & Automation lead engineer in the project team. As a project engineer, you will be involved in various projects for our offshore oil and gas production plants within your area of competency. The work will primarily be related to offshore activities in the Danish part of the North Sea. Some travelling activity is to be expected also in connection with training of and coordination with technical personnel.

?Project work with special focus on instrumentation, electronic equipment, control systems and telecom activities and thereto related documentation review and update
?Recommendations and cost benefit calculations on technical solutions in accordance with international standards
?Safety related modifications and recommendations
?Management of vendor projects
?Travel to offshore installation for trouble shooting, implementation of projects and training of offshore personnel
?Evaluate the latest technology to provide solutions in order to improve the operational effectiveness
?Ensure that all consultancy and supplier activities meet agreed targets
?Participate as internal consultant in connection with maturing and modification projects
?Attendance in Emergency Response teamwork
