Technical Sales Manager

We are expanding our team with the following position:
Technical Sales Manager
Branche: Packaging Machines
Job type and location: Full-Time, Athens, Greece

Job Purpose:
In this position you will have the responsibility for the development of sales, the expansion of existing accounts and the stabilization of customer relations with the aim to maintain and increase revenue within the assigned territory, (Greece & Cyprus). Another focal point is the training of the customer on the correct and efficient usage and the benefits of the specific product.
An efficient follow-up which is based on a constant dialogue with customer/end-user is essential.

Core Specific Responsibilities:
Your daily work includes the observation of the market/the market needs/the competitors and an up-to-date knowledge of the product and its use.
• Supervision and stabilization of customer relations and acquisition of potential new clients
• Increase sales volume
• Develop sales plans and revenue forecasts.
• Lead direct Sales
• Communicate with management and clients on matters to ensure successful project delivery
• Technical advice and customer requirements analysis
• Interface to the local sales team and project management
• Represent the company at exhibitions
Your profile:
To successfully fulfill this position the following experience is required:
• Technical background
• Male with higher education.
• Work experience with large corporate clients or with projects not less than 2 years.
• Ability to achieve required revenue and defined sales targets
• Solid computer skills in MS-Office and basic knowledge of SAP
• Fluent in spoken and written Greek and English. Preferably also German language skills.
• Readiness to travel
• capacity for teamwork, motivation, flexibility, ambitious and commitment
• strongly customer focused with excellent ability to negotiate the needs of our clients, enjoying selling, certain and friendly appearance.
You distinguish yourself by excellent organizational and communicative skills as well as by the ability to work independently and well structured. You convince by your integrity and your profound knowledge of the product and its use.
