Developer-PERM- £25-30K, Wiltshire

Working with a secure public sector organisation, you will be working within the Housing department. You will have the opportunity to be involved in the full development life cycle. You will have strong database experience with previous exposure to and understanding of .NET (C#), and/or Java and/or C++. This role will require some knowledge of these programming languages from time to time.

Vacancy Description
*You will be required to confirm and analyze requirements working with product team and customers.
*You will design, review and architect solutions
*To create code specification and carry out coding
*Carry out reviews of code components
*To unit and cross/peer test software components
*To liaise and communicate with Quality Assurance team and resolve issues
*To provide support/information to customer consultants/helpdesk on issue resolution
*Provide estimations for the development activities
*To escalate risks and issues on case to case basis
*Version control all the artefacts and code components
*Provide supporting documentation: UML cases, design/impact documents, Test specifications, User instructions, Installation and release notes
*To support the installation and execution of programs

Essential Experience/Skills
*RDBMS Experience
*SQL
*XML
*XSD
*.Net (C#) and/or Java and/or C++
*Technical Documentation
*Visual Basic/Access
*Any GUI based development
*To work alongside colleagues at all levels of experience and expertise.
*Ability to analyse, design, develop, test and document solutions

Desired Experience/Skills
*Certifications in appropriate technology
*Housing Association or Local Government knowledge
*SQL Server/Ingres UML COM
