Senior Accounts Officer – Jersey – Offshore Accountancy Job

This leading independent provider of private wealth, corporate and fund administration service is urgently seeking a talented Senior Accounts Officer for its Jersey business unit.

As Senior Accounts Officer you will be expected to bookkeep to trial balance and prepare company and trust accounts. It will also be your responsibility to the main point of contact with administrators and associated third parties. Given that you will have responsibility for a portfolio of clients, you will be able to work on your own initiative and ensure deadlines are met. You will be responsible for preparing fee notes, VAT returns and any other relevant offshore accountancy tasks.

The successful applicant for the Senior Accounts Officer position will have a minimum of three years experience, preferably in a similar offshore financial organisation. A relevant professional accountancy qualification is ideal but not essential to this role.
