French & English Fund Accountant Luxembourg Offshore Acc

Due to growth and increased volume of business being transacted by the Real Estate Investment Funds Division, this Global fiduciary services and fund administration company in Luxembourg, are looking for talented, motivated and pro-active Fund Accountant.

The main responsibilities of the Fund Accountant are to undertake NAV calculations at fund level and are be responsible for the accounting of the subsidiary companies used in the relevant investment portfolios. Some of the key tasks and responsibilities will be the efficient and timely operation of NAV calculations. You can also expect to be participating in the set up and launch of private equity and real estate investment structures. You will be asked to prepare quarterly reports and annual accounts. Finally you will undertake you duties along with communicating and advising
clients, (tax) advisers, lawyers, notaries, other professionals and relevant government institutions.

To be considered for this well paid job you should be University educated with a degree in finance/accounting. You will also have to have at least two years of experience in a similar position at an international organization, corporate trust service providers or at an audit firm. You should be knowledgeable about IFRS and Lux GAAP, with strong financial/accounting and analytical skills. It would be beneficial if you had an understanding of real estate accounting software such as Yardi or MRI.
