French & English Senior Fund Accountant Luxembourg- Offsho

The Luxembourg hedge fund administration arm of global financial service provider is looking to add a Senior Fund Accountant to its fund administration group.

This team provides fund administration services to real estate investment structures in this case the one of the European Real estate funds. This is a senior Fund Accounting job whereby you will be responsible for efficient and timely preparation of NAV calculations. You can also expect to be the main point of contact for the investment manager and external advisors, auditors, (tax) advisors, other professionals, government institutions and other group offices. Another main duty will be the preparation of the annual and semi-annual consolidated IFRS financial statements. You will also have responsibility for the audit of the consolidated IFRS accounts and creating the overview and quarterly and annual reports. To achieve the required standards you will have a team of four other accountants.

To be selected you will be a qualified accountant with considerable experience, ideally in fund accounting, although applicant with a background as an external auditor, will also be considered. You will have detailed knowledge of IFRS and strong financial/accounting and analytical skills. Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of any other European language (especially French) would be an advantage.
