Sales Assistant French (and Italian)

The position of Sales Assistant shall be the primary support resource for the Salesperson(s) that are assigned. You will report directly to the Sales Administration Manager.
The Sales assistant:

Handles roll-over calls from salesmen; prioritizes them, personally provides administrative help and takes message for/finds source to answer sales-related calls.
Knows and understands basic sales policies and how they apply to purchase orders, sales orders and inventory management.
Helps correct inventory inaccuracies & receiving errors.
Consistently pulls high-cost/aging inventory reports for sales and follows up with sales to ensure the necessary action is taken on the results.
Handles all purchase order clean up on incoming gear.
Creates sales orders per salesperson's request.
Monitors open (hold) sales orders for age, need to buy lists, & need to ship updates for salesperson.
Sends correct and complete pick tickets to warehouse in a timely manner to ensure the orders ship according to customer's request and on schedule.
Monitors shipping progress through warehouse, communicates to salesmen issues as necessary.
Creates complete & correct purchase orders based on salesperson requests to procure equipment.
Monitors their salesperson's open purchase orders (inventory and cogs) for validity, arrival date, payment.
Pro-actively ensures PO's arrive and are received as expected.
Coordinates freight logistics for incoming salesperson's inventory purchases including setting up shipment pick-ups and completing international paperwork.
Develops positive vendor relationships.
Is able to look up and enter valid Prospects, Customers, Vendors and Protected equipment sources and Activities associated with them.
Understands protection policies regarding entities, monitors entities by running regular reports & working with salesperson/team to help ensure that they maintain ownership.
Proactively runs reports.
