Our client who designs and manufactures production line equipment are keen to recruit Control Panel Builder to work in a small team to build, wire and install electrical control panels.
What's on offer?
37.5 hours per week on flexitime basis
23 days holiday plus discretionary days and bank holidays

Duties:
Work alongside Automation Technicians to build, wire and install electrical control panels
Ensure panel components match the requirements of the issued wiring diagram and control panel layouts
Assemble control panel enclosure building plinths, assembling bays and side panels
Work with Electrical Design Draughtsman to accomplish best panel layout and design and assemble components accordingly
Work with the Electrical Design Draughtsman and Automation Technician to wire the control panel using the issued wiring diagrams
Requirements:
Previous panel wiring experience would be preferable
Apprentice trained and/or a formal Electrical Engineering Qualification is essential
A systematic approach to work with great attention to detail is required
Experience of working with automated production machinery or other similar capital equipment
Must be flexible with a willingness to lean to expand scope of knowledge
Experience gained working within a project environment in cross-functional project teams
