About the Job:

A leading European training company seeks a Project Director to be responsible for the day-to-day overall operation and quality for a project in HR and Education/ Training consultancy. The project is expected to run for a total duration of 3 years
The applicant should be currently based in Bahrain and enjoys at least 10 years of experience in HR and training.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Project /Practice Management
• Takes a lead role in identification and development of strategic clients.
• Communicates effectively with the contracting party as well as clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies.
• Meet bi-weekly, or as needed, with the contracting party to review milestones set against achieved, all financial, procedural, or communication matters.
• Reviews high-level deliverables across practice.
• Ensures engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures take place during the complete duration of the project

Project accounting
• Consolidates and analyzes profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization across the project.
• Follows up with the contracting party of payments.

Project leadership
• Oversees team members working on client engagements.
• Provides leadership and guidance in all aspects of the project.
• Supports and solicits input from team members at all levels.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in HR is requested
• More than 10 years of experience in HR and/ or training management.
• Must be fluent in Arabic and English
• Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal as well as excellent organizational skills.
• Computer skills with MS Office program, e-mail and internet
• Proven project management (monitoring, evaluating and report writing) skills
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Confident people manager with the experience of managing diverse teams
• Planning and problem solving ability
• Able to deal with people of all ages and abilities and from all sectors of the community with the talent to motivate and enthuse people
• Diplomacy and negotiation skills
• Able to manage time efficiently and to ‘multi-task’ whilst working to deadlines
• Good level of experience of contract management and working with a variety of contractors, consultants and freelancers.
• An understanding of the training sector
• Proven budgetary and financial skills, including cost estimating.
