Security Manager

Giving leadership, direction and guidance to the Directorate on all areas involving Security in the Plant and at the Mining establishment.

Advise Management on changes to National and Regulatory legislation and its impact on the Company

Carry out Security Audits/Surveys on all Corporate Structures and identifying inherent weaknesses and risks in the set up and making informed recommendations to Management

Liaise with the Government Protection and Security Inspectorate Unit of the Government on the State of security at the Company

Maintain a database of security incidents occurring in the Company and the resultant analysis of trends with a view to improving the crime situation at the workplace.

Compile Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Security Reports for Management

Formulate and communicate a Corporate Security Policy and the accompanying procedures for use by members in the Company

Ensuring the security and protection of all corporate Assets

Investigating any suspected breaches of the Law (both Criminal violations and Violations of the Company Code of Conduct) and make informed and objective recommendations to Management

Liaise with Law Enforcement Officials as and when necessary
Organize and conduct meetings with Private Security Service providers.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of private security Companies contracted to pride Security services at the Company
