Role

The Manager/Senior Manager, for Brand Analytics is a key strategic business partner within the European Primary Care organisation. He/she is responsible for ensuring generation of market, brand and customer insights and business intelligence and that the implications of the research and analytics are fully integrated at the brand team level to yield a competitive advantage for our brands and organisation. The Manager/Senior Manager will be part of a team of other Brand Analytics colleagues supporting various European Brand Therapeutic Areas and brand teams. He/she is also responsible for applying leading practices and research processes to drive innovative research to their clients in the European Brand team and conducting all primary and secondary research execution in an effort to enable higher quality strategic brand decisions and ensure successful marketing execution.

The individual will be a critical partner with the EBTs, establishing credibility with key stakeholders within the Primary Care Business Unit, including country colleagues. The individual must have strong analytical and interpersonal skills and be willing to actively partner with other functions to drive meaningful business results.

Responsibilities

*Execution and synthesis of appropriate and comprehensive primary and secondary market/customer research plans and activities that will support commercial needs and maximize brand value.
*Supporting the therapy area/brand teams at a highly effective level so that insights generated are used to develop sustainable strategies and best in class brand execution by the Brand teams.
*Recommend and apply appropriate research methodologies, leading practices and internal processes to clients to help them in making the best decisions in an efficient manner.
*Proactively identify issues and offer analytical approaches to driving cross brand and cross customer performance.
*Monitor research plans and be accountable for effectiveness of research against European Brand Team needs, demonstrating positive return on investment in market research over long-term.
*Work effectively among team members and broader stakeholders by setting a highly visible example for colleagues within EuCan and countries in terms of professional excellence and commitment to demonstrating leader behaviours and values.
*Be part of a team culture that values, recognises and generates high performance, supports innovation, and challenges the status quo.

Requirements:

*Very strong strategic skills including creativity and effectiveness in identifying and addressing major strategic challenges (e.g., new competition, shifting market environment) and the ability to balance short-term needs with long-term vision.
*Demonstrated track record of high performance and producing outstanding results as a team and/or individual contributor.
*Proven ability to facilitate open discussion and debate and build internal and external relationships through partnering, anticipating needs, and fulfilling expectations.
*Broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare environment including pricing, reimbursement, regulatory requirements and market and policy trends.
*Demonstration of strong analytical, problem-solving and quantitative skills.
*Strong working knowledge and expertise of using secondary data sources to inform planning, tracking and business decisions.
*Ability to analyze, define and convey complex concepts and strategies in verbal and written communication to very demanding internal and external audiences.
*Strong interpersonal skills are required, as well as excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
*Well-organised with the ability to be flexible, prioritise multiple demands and effectively lead in a matrix organisation.

Qualifications:

*University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Psychology or other relevant discipline
*Solid experience conducting primary market research and analysing and deriving insight from quantitative secondary data
*Bilingualism is preferred, fluency in English required
