Deputy Cost Manager

Reporting to the Corporate Cost Manager, the role of the Deputy Cost Manager is to manage the Cost Control function at a corporate level and all aspects of Cost Control on allocated projects.
Responsibilities include the management and effective use of cost resources, ensuring compliance with work practices and procedures; review of cost and change control processes and procedures on specific KBR projects.


RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Deputy Cost Manager, you will assist in providing leadership and technical direction over a team of Cost specialists. You will be responsible for the implementation of cost control procedures and also for all cost reporting and change control on specific projects. In addition, you will be required to set up and implement trending and progress measurement processes on projects, using the KBR Corporate Project Controls system, for which training will be given. The role will also include responsibility for assisting the cost risk analysis on a project.

Specific responsibilities include:
o Participate in the development of the Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
o Implement KBR standard cost procedures and project specific processes, using the KBR cost controls systems such as PCMS (for which training will be given)
