Recruiter/ Personnel officer (Toronto GTA)

World HR is looking for an energetic recruiter that can help us find great workers for our Canadian employer clients. We prefer someone with recruiting experience or experience in one of our target industries. Most of all we need outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic recruiters that can find the people to fill the job orders we have from Canadian employers. Main Duties

-Recruitment and selection including posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, coordinating assessments
-Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
- Advise job applicants on Employment requirements and on terms and conditions of employment
- Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and arrange transfers, redeployment and placement of personnel
-Support Hiring managers in: (a) identification of a required staff profile and formulation of the vacancy notice; (b) outreach to suitable candidates; (c) pre-screening of applications; (d) interviewing candidates and assessment of required skills using customized assessment tools; (e) giving advice on the soft skills of candidates in the drafting of recommendations; (f) verifying personal history form information; and (g) promotion and contract extension.
-Coordinate and follow up all recruitment, placement and transfer actions for staff at headquarters and other field offices in Latin America.
-Advise on entitlements and grading.
-Ensure conformity with requirements and compliance with the rules and regulations in Canada and Mexico; draft related correspondence and notes for file.
-Supervise the work of the field offices in Latinamerica; develop and coordinate new and improved internal administrative procedures to ensure efficiency in the group's operation.
-Promote our firm in Latinamerican countries, and find potential clients and partners.
-Advise staff in Latin America and Hiring managers, on procedures to be followed and transfer arrangements from their country of residence, to Canada.
-Support the enhancement of a computerized system and/or development of new features, thereby contributing to increased efficiency in the selection, placement and recruitment process.

Requirements

-More than 2 years of HR experience at international level.
-Fluent in English and Spanish. Oral communication and able to write and read text in Spanish and English is a must.
-A university degree or college diploma in business administration, industrial relations, or psychology
- Ability to working with others, computer use, problem solving, job task planning and organizing,
- Critical thinking, decision making.


Location: Toronto (GTA)
Compensation: $40,000 per year, 35 hours per week
This is a contract job.
