Job description:

The linguistic tester job consists in executing the translation and the localization of video game scripts on any type of platform, on computer and mobile phone. The linguists must have an excellent knowledge of English thus an excellent knowledge one of these languages which are German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Danish, Dutch, Finnish and Norwegian.

Task description:
• Execute tests on several platforms, mobile phones and/or consoles and/or computers under the direction of a lead tester.
• Adapt the video game script for specific markets to the language and the culture.
• Translation and correction of audio scripts, graphic elements, texts, the handbook, the Web site and files.
• Global evaluation of the video game and make sure that it fit the criteria of validation.
•Report and do the follow-up of the bugs.

Requirements:
• 1 to 6 months of related experience
• Diploma in translation and/or equivalent experience is a considerable asset.
• Competences in writhing and proofreading of text.
• Excellent knowledge of hardware and software PC.
• Autonomous.
• Excellent knowledge of English.
