Assistant Account Managers!

6Connex is currently seeking talented assistant account managers who excel in developing strong rapport with clients via telephone and online conference meeting activities. We’re looking for smart, internet-savvy people who are well organized, highly responsible with great follow through and understand how to cultivate a relationship, manage client budgets, and deliver an excellent customer experience. These individuals will be part of an account team that manages US-based customers remotely and works closely with, as well as reports to, and takes direction from strategic account leaders or national account managers to ensure that overall account and client objectives are being met. They will also manage action items from meetings, write budgets and Statements of Work (SOWs), and manage the customer’s software enhancement requests.

Hours: Standard work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Pacific Time.

Job Responsibilities

  • Schedule internal meetings, vendor meetings, client meetings, and client prep meetings and provide all necessary logistics to ensure smooth and successful meetings including the drafting and approval of meeting agendas, web conference setup and so forth.
  • Participate in client meetings, take accurate meeting notes, summarize action items and circulate appropriate meeting summary information.
  • Create budget estimates and SOWs and circulate for feedback and approval.
  • Update sales forecasts, opportunity statuses and meeting notes in SalesForce.
  • Manage customer enhancement requests.
  • Update internal project managers on client meetings and project information. Prepare presentations for new business meetings including slide presentations, snapshots of client success stories and so forth.

Required Skills

  • Outstanding personal communications and presentations skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and instill trust
  • Some knowledge of SalesForce or related sales automation software
  • Solid writing skills and the ability to develop presentations
  • Highly organized and excellent in following up in a timely manner

·         Ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Good working attitude
  • Independent, self starter

Key Points

  • This can be a work-from-home or remote position
  • Must have a computer and at least 2 Mbps internet connection
  • Must have a solid VoIP internet phone connection (fees to be paid 6Connex if needed)
  • Must have all necessary software such as Microsoft Office Suite
