Interim Senior Accountant - Cyprus

Our client; a leading and internationally established global portfolio investment company is looking for a qualified ACA or ACCA with a minimum of 10 years post qualification experience to join their dynamic finance team based in Limassol, Cyprus. The role involves travel to other sites in London, Monaco & Greece. This is a 12 month contract reporting to the CEO and would suit a performance orientated individual who is used to working to tight deadlines, with an accurate detail minded approach and a desire to solve problems and produce outstanding results.
The role will require you to prepare the monthly Management accounts and quarterly consolidation for the Group, manage corporate relationships with banking institutions and auditors, coordinate efforts for year-end audit and tax return preparation, VAT, preparation of budgets and cash flows, intra-group reconciliations, and maintain the company Petty Cash system and the fixed asset register.
Applicants should be ACCA or ACA qualified with 10 years post qualified experience. You will be fluent in English, and knowledge of the Greek language would be a distinct advantage; also knowledge of French or German would be useful. It is essential that applicants have used SAGE or a similar accounting system as well as being proficient in Windows platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
