Senior Biostatistician - Permanent

Your responsibilities:

• Management of the Statistics group in France
• Ensure appropriate statistical planning, analysis and reporting of one or more assigned clinical studies, development programs or drug submission dossiers as Project Statistician.
• Ensure quality of deliverables and that project milestones are met to agreed timelines and budget
• Review and anticipate resource requirements for existing projects within Biostatistics
• Act as Biometrics Team Leader in the Project Teams and attend customers meetings to discuss project requirements
• Adhere to the company’s standards, working procedures and to Health Authorities requirements
• Support and lead continue development and improvement of statistics and programming process
• Perform role of mentor for Biostatisticians and Clinical Programmers
• Set and maintain professional statistical and programming standards
• Maintain and develop a high standard of statistical methodology

Your qualification:

• MSc or PhD degree in Statistics
• At least 4 year relevant experience in statistical analysis and reporting of clinical trials within the pharmaceutical/CRO industry
• In depth knowledge and expertise in statistics and its applications to clinical trials
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
• Good working knowledge of statistical software packages (SAS)
• Must be able to work according to timelines and meet project deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Management/coaching skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English
