ITO Customer Support Specialist-French Spk Heldesk/Desktop

ITO Customer Support Specialist-French Spk Heldesk/Desktop is responsible for PC support, IT problem management and IT customer care with IT on-site end-users support and will work closely with the ITO International Service Desk and other members of the ITO EMEA team to ensure delivery of premium support. The ITO Customer Support Specialist-French Spk Heldesk/Desktop will perform installation, configuration, analysis, and troubleshooting of desktop software/hardware, network components, remote access, and other IT infrastructure and telecommunication matters as well as ensuring that all supported client software performs to specification, dealth with users compliance with company standards and regular interaction with customers and other ITO personnel working at other sites within the region, responding to and resolving IT service. You will follow project plans to implement new software or upgrades and make sure that vulnerability and security tools on operating system configurations, keeping inventory of all machines and data equipment current. Major Challenge:Maintain customer satisfaction during heavy call volume periods, major outages and Obtain customer feedback. Ideally the IITO Customer Support Specialist-French Spk Heldesk/Desktop will have a good Knowledge of the software and hardware platforms utilised by the end-users is obligatory, aware of necessary software upgrades, customer focused attitude, ability to face major problems with personal computers and IT environment and have the ability to troubleshoot the problem to resolution, Capability to diagnose problems with complex technologies such as software drivers, operating systems, protocols (TCP-IP), DHCP, agents, OLEs, data base engines, software configuration etc. at the client level, High level knowledge of the following Microsoft software: Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Office, Outlook and IE, Knowledge of McAfee anti-virus software, Netscape, Norton Ghost, TCP-IP protocol, workgroup technologies, Lotus Notes, office automation tools, and monitoring tools to detect problems, basic understanding of server technologies such as Windows & Exchange and Expert background in desktop computing, particularly with Microsoft products. French is required and a high level of spoken and written English is required to enable integration into the ITO EMEA team
