Nanny/au pair/ domestic help

Hi,

We are a Swedish/British family looking for a full time live in nanny. Bianca is 2 years old but will be in full time school except for Wednesdays.The job is really to take care of Kenza, one year in August and to do the domestic chores. Kenza will be going to a playgroup for a few mornings and a few afternoons per week so a driving licence is of essence.

We live in an old renovated farm house in Gex, France, some 20 min from downtown Geneva. I work part time and not at all on Wednesdays. We provide our nanny with a room with separate entrance and bathroom and she gets nice food and a good salary. We have had nannies for the past 15 years, one stayed 6 years, one 7 years. The current nanny is now getting married and will leave us this summer so we need to find someone who can start 28 July 2008. Our basic approach is that the working arrangement needs to be based on mutual respect and friendship but with clear responsabilities and expectations.

We are flexible as to arrangement of working hours, and how much domestic work would be included, obviously, the more work undertaken the higher salary. There is also a possibility to earn more as the neighbour have a one year old girl and look for a few playdates mornings which would add to the salary.
