"The PositionThe HR Regional Manager Corporate Pharmacies is responsible for supporting and enabling the Head of HR and the team with the ongoing activities related to the development, implementation and maintenance of HR activities within the Pharmacies division to ensure alignment to the companies HR strategy.The role of the HR Regional Manager Corporate Pharmacies is to work with a Region and enable the HR Director at local level to implement and monitor their HR Strategy as well as ensuring that for all the countries there is operational best practice in place, taking into account the best practice at local level and transferring this to all local businesses. The HR regional Manager Corporate Pharmacies reports to the Head of Corporate HR Pharmacies but will work very closely with the relevant Regional Director.The pharmacies division consists of eight operation companies and a few appropriate Pharmacies support Functions. The operating companies are made up with one very mature, large UK business and seven younger businesses established less than 5 years in today’s structure of varying sizes and levels of maturity.Duties and Responsibilities:- Working with the HR Directors of the region to understand the key business drivers and need of current and future business and HR challenges- Inputting with high level HR professional expertise on all matters relating to people issues, and gaining the respect of the local SMT’s- Working with the local HR Director to translate business specific plans into HR requirements and projects- Identifying operational best practice and ensuring that this is transferred to the other Regions- Imitating and managing teams/projects to deliver the relevant HR projects or programs- Monitoring projects to ensure they deliver business improvement and are aligned with organisational objectives- Working with the HR team to ensure that the recruitment processes and best practice are aligned- Working with the Training specialist to ensure that the training strategy is aligned to the business and HR strategy- Monitoring the implementation of the HR Operations best practice - identifying interventions and implementing at local level- Coaching and supporting the local HR directors and where necessary certain members of the SMT to ensure that they fulfil the people management aspects of their role - strengthening existing skill-sets and behaviours to support the capability of SMT’s to lead and manage change- Participating in wider cross-functional business projects across the business units- Supporting the regional Directors on all regional HR issues- Functional responsibility on a pan-European basis for HR OperationsRequire Knowledge & Skills- At least 5 years working experience, particularly in an international environment as a business partner- Ability to build credibility at local level- Proven project management experience- Understanding how HR can add value to the business- Knowledge of the spectrum of HR interventions- Strong interpersonal skills, drive and enthusiasm - desire to learn more- Excellent organisational skills- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with people from different nationalities - culturally sensitive- Capable of providing a “hands on” approach- Excellent problem solving skills- University degree- Flexible and mobile- Excellent spoken and written German & English, preferable with another European language- Ability to adapt quickly to the changing business needs- General all rounder with the ability to work with people at different levels of the organisation- Ability to work alone and in a team when needed"
