Danish International HR & Recruitment in Berlin.

Company: Our client is a major European heavy industry conglomerate with operations across the globe. They have grown their business to over $100bn and close to 100,000 staff on 5 continents. They have recently centralized their European Finance, HR and legal operations in a Shared Service Centre in Berlin. They are now centralizing all their business functions in Berlin and are growing their HR SSC function.

Role: A new European HR team is being developed in Berlin that will recruit for all EMEA countries. This team will work with local HR & Management to identify roles, write job specs and start searching for suitably qualified candidates.

The HR Recruitment team will be broken into three units; Engineering, R&D and Corporate Recruitment. Successful candidates will specialize in a particular market to understand the EMEA hiring plan, vacancies and staff up the positions for all EMEA stakeholders.

Skills: Candidates will need to demonstrate a successful track record of recruitment in Production & Engineering, R&D and Corporate & Business functions. In addition to this you will need to have a University degree or specialism/understanding of the sector in question. You will have worked in a company or position that was involved in Production & Engineering, R&D and Corporate or Business functions. The candidates will speak fluent Danish and English.

The successful applicant will be the hands-on recruitment specialist and will need to be able to organise hiring plans, work to targets and liaise with business unit heads.
