Icelandic to English Translator

Our client is a leading provider of translation and localization services in Iceland. They work a in a variety of different industry across the Globe.
Due to further expansion our client is currently recruiting for an Icelandic to English in-house translator. Candidates should be native speakers of English, with a degree in Translation, or possibly Modern Languages. You should have at least 6 months translation experience with good knowledge of translation tools such as Trados, SDLX and Idiom WorldServer Desktop Workbench .

As an in-house translator, you will come into contact with a host of different subject areas. Our main specialist areas of work are automotive, general technical (mechanical engineering, electrical, electronic), IT and localization, financial and commercial, but if you already have experience from a different specialist subject field such as medical, you very likely will also have the opportunity to use your skills in that field.
