The Background
A global anti-virus security and software organisation are looking for a Level 1 Technical Support Engineer to join them at their site in Cork.
The Role
In this role the Level 1 Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support on all anti-virus software installed and/or configured on any of the following platforms – Windows NT, Windows 2000 and UNIX.
The Person
You should be fluent in Spansih and an effective communicator with a positive and confident attitude. You will have experience of working in a Service organisation with customer contact (Telephone, Mail and direct); providing assistance to colleagues, direct, by telephone or by accompanying them on a customer visit.
Experience of networking and Web/Internet protocols including UNIX, TCP/IP and NT and experience of one or more of the following systems is required; hardware structures, operating systems, email, groupware networking and/or web based security.
