PBX Specialist/Telecoms Engineer

The Company is currently seeking a PBX Specialist/Telecoms Engineer for its Cork, Ireland offices.

Job Description

• Document current PBX systems throughout EMEA
• Consult with the EMEA management to understand and implement current and future voice telecommunication requirements.
• Administration of Alcatel voice communication systems
• Administration of Alcatel call centre facilities.
• Design and implementation of call flows, auto attendant / interactive voice routing and statistical reporting.
• Design and implementation of future VOIP requirements
• Work environment is mainly desk-based but with some travel as required for EMEA-based projects.
• Maintain and sustain the EMEA PBX systems
• Improve the logic setup of the PBX’es in EMEA
• Create Statistics and Monitoring of the PBX
• Support multiple FaxServers
• Support the outbound dialer software of TeleSales Team
• Support the EMEA Teams in design of call flows and other PBX-related questions

Requirements

• Previous experience in call centre-type voice telecommunications environment and reporting systems
• Previous knowledge of Alcatel Voice systems would be advantageous.
• English is essential, other European language desirable.
• Strong team player
• Strong organisational and consultative skills
• Alcatel OMNIPBX 4400 and Alcatel Call Centre knowledge
• PBX interconnect skills, VoIP skills and Cycos MRS skills are desirable
