Our client, a global Car Rental company, offers you the great opportunity to join their team as a German Helpdesk Agent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To answer all calls to ensure that customer queries are handled effectively and professionally.

To answer all GDS queue messages from Travel Agents and Airlines to ensure a high quality of service to the Travel Trade.

Daily email handling according to defined turnaround times thus ensuring an efficient service to our web customers.

Identify and research the root cause of reported problems to ensure the continuous improvement of the websites.

Problem solving to identify and communicate suggestions for reducing or eliminating problems and implement them where appropriate in order to continuously improve processes.

SKILLS:

Excellent standard of English
Fluent German
Travel agency experience
Experience in at least one of the GDS (Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus or Worldspan)
General knowledge of the Internet
Positive attitude and willingness to work
Evidence of having worked well in a team
Must possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal (including professional telephone manner)
Evidence of exhibiting excellent customer service skills.
Interested in working with different systems
Must be able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
