Company: Our client is a major International services company with over 5,000 staff in Europe, Middle East and Asia and 1bn in revenue. They are expanding their operation in Ireland and are now looking for a new IT Site support specialist to manage a 150 user centre.
Role: This role will see you manage their entire IT infrastructure, PC Client, Server computing, LAN, CRM, anti-virus & telephony. The position is very hands on and will see you manage the design and installation of this new facility and manage it on an ongoing basis. You will be responsible for maintaining the IT infrastructure, troubleshooting, liaising with European IT colleagues and ensuring that the centres technology is maintained in accordance with the International corporate IT standards.
Skills: The ideal candidate will possess an IT Degree or professional qualifications as well as detailed hands on IT skills in IT support, networking , LAN and PC and server based computing. You will be able to support a 150 user operation and have the ability to work independently to achieve targets by go live dates and work with European IT teams to ensure that the facility meets SOX and EMEA IS policies.
