International Client Advisor – Jersey – Offshore Banking Job

Global Financial services firm, now a major offshore finance player, urgently seeks a International Client Advisor to join the Jersey office of its Wealth management division.

Within the wealth management business unit , the International Client Desk provides Wealth Management solutions for clients at a global level. These clients are not allocated at a geographical level, for example the Jersey team includes clients who are resident in the Middle and Near East, Africa and Asia as well as Swiss Clients Abroad. As International Client Advisor you will be involved in the management of clients principally resident in Asia and the Near East as well as a small number of UK Ultra High Net Worth clients.

With in your responsibilities will be the development and successful maintenance of long-term relationships amongst your assigned client book. You will also be tasked with new client acquisition, and this offshore banking opportunity would ideally suit an individual with an existing client portfolio in the targeted client markets. Central to the role of the International Client Advisor is the introduction of innovative banking solutions to meet client needs. To achieve this you will have to establish a close working relationship with the relevant Product and Marketing specialists as appropriate.

To be considered as a candidate for the International Client Advisor role you will have to be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of capital markets across all asset classes. You will need a high level of knowledge of strategic asset allocation and investment markets. It is also essential you can point to you and show previous successes in building strong client relationships amongst HNWI´s and financial service institutions. Suitable Investment qualifications are a given, as you will need to proactively review existing portfolios and initiate ideas to maximise investment strategies for your clients.
