A vacancy exists for a telecom graduate/or experienced telco engineer to carry out the role of optimisation engineer for my client based in The Gambia.
Our customers are the biggest mobile network operators in Africa, and you will assist to improve network quality, ensure customer retain ability and ensure competitive advantage in their markets.
The candidate will be responsible for optimisation activities in the cluster against the agreed key performance indicators for the coverage, interference (network Quality), RF and parameters. These activities include, but are not limited to the following: handover strategy, coverage strategy against the agreed requirements, handover management, traffic dimension, quality issues (Rxqual, SQI), capacity (load dimension, congestion and blocking for traffic) and power control strategy.
