Senior Tax Specialist – Luxembourg – Offshore Accounting Job

"World class asset management, bank and securities services company is looking to add a talented Senior Tax Specialist to its Luxembourg wealth management practice.

As Senior Tax Specialist you will support the tax technical project work, assist the Tax Officer/ Tax Manager and maintain a consistently high level of service for the department. For example you will assist in identifying core weaknesses in any aspect of service delivery and project work. The task will involve the managing of number of client queries and internal processes and procedures. The Senior Tax Specialist will also coach junior team members. In this offshore tax job you will support the completion of tax projects, utilizing all your technical expertise and tax knowledge in resolution of complex queries.

To be considered for the Senior Tax Specialist position you will need at least two years experience in Tax, combined with a University degree in Law or Economics. It is expected you will also have some basic knowledge and experience in Fund Accounting. Finally Tax Specialists with a good knowledge of investment funds taxation (at least in German, Austrian and EUSD tax regulations) and a good knowledge of capital market products – will be welcomed. Finally you must be fluent in English, whilst German or French would be an advantage.
