Supervisory Accountant – Luxembourg – Offshore Accounting

This trust company based in Luxembourg, but part of a larger Swiss corporate services organisation is urgently seeking a Supervisory Accountant for its finance department.

The company, which prides itself on its independence, has a core business centred upon international corporate structuring. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Supervisory Accountant will direct a small team of accountants, who work on behalf of their clients. These clients are often sophisticated financial organisations themselves, with complicated needs and demands which have to be completed in a timely manner. These will include reviewing annual and intermediary accounts of Luxembourg companies (mainly SOPARFIS; SPT; SIF; SICAR..). As Supervisory Accountant you can also expect to be responsible for tax and fiscal declarations on behalf of your teams clients. The skills development and evolution of your team is also in your hands.

To be considered for the Supervisory Accountant vacancy you must have at least three to five years experience gained within the external audit, preferably in the department of a Big 4 Company. You will also need some knowledge of IFRS, Consolidation and Lux Gaap. Finally to be able to function within this complex international organisation you will need to be fluent in French and English, with German a bonus.
