Job description:

* Application Support:
- Solve flow measurement problems in the field (i.e. at customer's site).
- Liaise with experts if problems can not be resolved.
- Take ownership for fast and accurate resolution of technical and application oriented problems that may arise in the supported area. (Central European Region).
- Provide product and application oriented telephone, fax and e-mail support to sales, service, support personnel and customers.
- Perform remote troubleshooting, perform in-house simulation to duplicate issues and collaborate with engineers on-site.

* Technical Training:
- Supervise practical training exercises.
- Write technical training materials in modular format. (presentations, handouts, exercises)
- Prepare products and equipment for practical training exercises.
- Take ownership for the education and certification of local service personnel in the Central European area by providing technical leadership, day to day coaching and assessing training needs with regard to product knowledge, application knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Update training material in accordance with revised product specifications, application experiences and the release of new products.
- Deliver technical training to customers, service engineers, sales engineers and support personnel.

* Communication and supervision (communicates in the English and German language with):
- Manager A&CS about strategic direction, jobs at hand, workload, progress, etc.
- Quality about product quality issues, process improvements.
- Field Service Engineers about troubleshooting, consultative advice, conducting training.
- Country service, flow and product managers about field assistance and training needs.
- Country flow managers about application support, consultative field visits.
- Customers about consultative advice, troubleshooting, customer training.
- Inside Sales and Field Sales Engineers about, consultative advice, conducting training, application and technical support.
- Technical Training Coordinator about training programs, daily activities, training development, challenges, possible improvements etc.
- A&CS colleagues about applications, troubleshooting, problem resolutions, consultative advice, conducting/receiving training.
- Marketing about product issues/improvements, business development, process improvements.
