WE ARE URGENTLY LOOKING FOR BUSINESS ANALYST!

"Purpose Statement:The business analyst will be responsible for providing the development and maintenance of financial models behind commercials propositions for on demand.Furthermore the position will support research and analysis of on going business development, performance-measurement cases and support the on-going management controlKey Facts and Figures: Direct reports – This role will have no direct report responsibility. Main Responsibilities:?Take ownership of Long Range planning models.. ?Work closely with the commercial team to ensure the maximum sync-up between business plans and budgets. ?Work closely with the commercial, On Air and programming team to provide the support needed in business negotiations.?Conduct business research on various programming related issues using various business intelligence sources, as well as internal/historical data?Prepare ad-hoc business analysis both qualitative and quantitative of both current operations performance measurement and potential ventures, in the contexts of product, business, and commercial development?Prepare financial models e.g. DCF to support analysis and/or various business needs?Prepare business cases, making clear and sound strategic recommendations to higher management on how to improve performance, profitability, and/or efficiency?Prepare clear and sound presentations PowerPoint delivering the relevant message in an optimal wayContext/Environment: Amsterdam based, with travel to other European countries as required.Fast paced, busy industry with rapidly changing business models and customer requirements, this will require real agility.Ambiguous environment that will require clarity of thinking, flexibility and commitment.Knowledge, Skills & Experience: ?University degree in Finance, Business, or Economics with proven above-average results?Financial knowledge – the candidate should be able to grasp and work with key financial concepts e.g. NPV, IRR, Discount rates, EBITDA, FCF, etc.. and use them to demonstrate and/or support business cases ?2-3 years of experience in roles such as business analyst, business strategy consultant, or financial controlling role within either corporate, banking, and/or consulting company?Financial modeling – the ideal candidate would be expected to build and handle various business models market analysis models, DCF models, deal structures, etc. of various complexity levels ?Analytical skills or Consulting skills – ability to quickly dive into complex issues, analyze and interpret numerical results, identify core problems/drivers, present them in a clear and simple manner, while laying out possible strategic options, and recommendations ?Understanding of the Telecommunication and Media industries experience within the industry is preferred ?Fluent in English – Excellent level is required for communication and mostly writing skills. Clear and accurate articulation both written and spoken is required mother tongue is preferred?Computer skills: Excellent level of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordKey Measures: Working Relationships and Team Working: The candidate will work in the finance team and will report into the Senior Finance Manager."
