Accountant (French + English)

Job description
Because the company is centralising all Financial staff to the Netherlands, they are currently looking for a French accountant.

Tasks:

- Bank reconciliations
- Review accounting ledger entries
- Prepare monthly memo journal entries
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Organize monthly VAT return, intrastate and ICL
- Maintain fixed assets register
- Follow up of provisions/accruals
- Control of monthly pay slips and payroll entries for France
- Backup of the Senior financial accountant for the French accounting

Requirements
- Native/Excellent French
- Excellent/Fluent knowledge of English
- Good knowledge of Dutch is a bonus - Dutch is the main internal language within the company, so for the team building it would be handy to speak the language.
- Education to degree level HBO
- Practical work experience (min. 5 yrs), preferably in retail
- Self starter
- Flexible mindset
- Not afraid for a changing environment (not always a schedule or planning as the company is growing)
- Hands-on mentality
- Team player who can demonstrate initiative, entrepreneurship and ability to identify process improvement opportunities
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office) 
- Experience with the French accounting rules would be an advantage

Salary indication
?3000-3500
