For an international chemical company in the centre of Rotterdam we are looking for a:

German/English Customer Service Representative.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Increase and strengthen customer loyalty of the company\s customer base through knowledge of corporate directives on customer accounts.
-Responsible and accountable for proactive management of customer fulfillment process and issue resolution and effective handling of unique and non-routine activities.
-Process responsibilities include receipt of orders, coordinating product and transportation availability, timely delivery, inventory management, invoicing, distributor pricing and/or coordinating reconciliation of process exceptions.
-Responsible and accountable for the resolution of customer problems and effective communications both internally and externally ensuring total customer satisfaction with products and services.
-Initiate customer contact for additional orders/products.
-Encourage E-commerce tool utilization by customer base and determine SAP and other system tool improvement options.
-Coordinates forecast information, routes market/customer intelligence, manages Vendor Managed Inventory or consignment. Responsible for non-contract pricing, customer master data, logistics network data, and inventory data as needed.
-Flexible/adaptable to work cross functionally.
-Participate in process improvement initiatives, assist in departmental training efforts and design and implement department procedures and policies as it relates to elevating customer satisfaction.
-Proactively interface with customer contacts at all levels of organization.
-Acts as advisor to less experienced Customer Support Representatives.
-Provide support and leadership for multiple channels to market.
-Resolve logistics, credit, and inventory issues for order management, delivery planning and execution, inventory management, and price administration. Works with minimal supervision.
-Take independent initiative to work cross functionally on value creation or issue resolution. -Provides tactical and strategic support to Supply chain team members and business partners.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-2 - 6 years of customer related experience preferred.
-Have direct integrated order management/customer support experience with either inventory management experience or logistics coordination experience.
-Experience that demonstrates complex problem resolution negotiation experience
-Demonstrate customer relationship management
-Ability to attain judgment in problem solving, knowledge of company, product movements and inventory, company products and usage, and product end use markets on an intermediate level.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with both external and internal customers and be able to mentor/coach peers.
-Analytical skills, application of good business practices, and superior work ethic.
-Advanced knowledge of SAP preferred, order entry systems, transportation tracking systems, e-commerce systems, and an understanding of manufacturing capabilities.
-Fluent in German and English (oral and written)
-Dutch is a plus.
