Data Warehouse Analyst - Amersfoort

Our international client are the worldwide leaders in the manufacturing and marketing of orthodontic/endodontic products and services.

Develop, validate and present management reports in a summarized and concise format utilizing data from multiple sources. Provide support in analyzing and validating requirements for changes to business processes and policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
* Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and provide relevant facts/details as required.
* Develop, monitor and track key financial and market related indicators. Provide weekly/monthly/ quarterly reports as required (i.e. sales & marketing / margin analysis, etc.) .
* Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver summarized or detailed conclusions/recommendations as required.
* Act as the information and analysis conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers). Liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.

Ideal candidates have :
* Experience in Data Warehouse technology on Oracle Databases, Data Flow Map Processes and in the use of Reporting Tools.
* Able to create reports with front-end tools such as Discoverer, Business Objects, SQL Reporting Services or other.
* Able to write Oracle Database Functions and Procedures.
* Skilled in writing shell procedures (Unix and eventual Windows).
* SQL / PL-SQL programming skills.
* Ability to write Hyperion reports (HFM) desirable.
* Thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate into meaningful reporting. Well skilled in defining/creating fundamental business reporting.
* Ability to work with and validate large data sets (greater than 1 million records)
* Good analytical skills with emphasis on Financial and Marketing areas. Natural curiosity regarding market developments
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English required, Dutch or French desirable)
* Ability to interact professionally within a dynamic and diverse business environment including executives, managers, and subject matter experts
* Ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
* Highly motivated and service oriented. Can work under minimal supervision (self-starter)

Education :
* Bachelor (HBO) or university degree in economics or information technology.
* Minimum 2 years experience in report generation and business analysis, preferably within an international organization.
