Job Description

The E-Distribution department within ISenD is responsible for support and maintenance of electronic distribution applications and service lines to support our client. Next to this E-Distribution develops the electronic distribution proposition in cooperation with wholesale business area and as a result it executes projects to bring requested functionality in production.

For the unit E-Distribution Projects & Development team is looking for a Business Analyst.

• The business analyst applies a strong knowledge base and expertise of relevant wholesale

banking fields like business products & areas, workflows, processes for resolution of

problems and recommends improvement opportunities. The business

analyst is the primary liaison between the business line, operations,

and the technical disciplines;

• Defines systems and project scope/ objectives through research, fact finding, with a
• solid understanding of business, systems, and requirements;
• Identifies, documents and implements (into plan) client requirements and needs;
• Translates business requirements into (possible IT) solution requirements;
• Performs cost benefit analysis, return on investment calculations and requests for proposals;
• Analyses research on operational procedures and methods and recommends changes for
• improvement - with an emphasis on automation and efficiency;
• Conducts benchmarking activities to identify best practices;
• Participate in testing of applications against requirements;
• Creates functional specifications based on defined requirements;
• Creates estimates of your own piece of work based on assignment or requirements;
• Assistance to users in user acceptance testing for the applications;
• Functional analysis of incidents/problems and providing possible solutions;
• Develops and maintains knowledge of business and business architecture;
• Continuously works to increase knowledge and to be familiar with best practices.

Job Requirements

• HBO/WO (NL) or College (UK), preferably in Business and/or Economics.
• Significant experience in an analysis role in Banking, Systems or Operations;
• Knowledge of methods and techniques (UML, RUP);
• Knowledge of architecture and infrastructure;
• Working knowledge of spoken and written Dutch and English;
• Knowledge of Project Management (Prince2);
• Good knowledge of the banking process and bank specific product knowledge;
• Knowledge of internet techniques, processes and workflows.
