he ICT department has 35 FTEs and consists of two clusters: Service Desk and Operations with employees located in five different countries. The operations team has 14 FTEs in three countries and its primary roles are (1) the design and implementation of the ICT infrastructure and (2) the development of web sites and supporting tools.

ICT Information Architect

The position

The ICT Information Architect supports the ICT Architectural Manager on documenting business needs and translating them into ICT terminology. Based on his analysis new ICT solutions and services will be developed.

Main tasks

• Translate documented business processes and functional requirements into technical language and solutions;
• Develop the ICT services portfolio (with special focus on information- and knowledge management as well as collaboration services);
• Support the business on new initiatives that require ICT support;
• Support colleagues in projects where architectural skills are needed.

Job Requirements

Your skills as a ICT Information Architect:

• Accredited education like ICT-Professional/ICT study;
• 5 Years work experience;
• Very good analytical skills;
• Experience with an architectural modeling language;
• Able to handle conflicting business requirements;
• Able to identify and understand business needs;
• Able to understand as well users, managers as well as ICT?s views and needs;
• Convincing/able to explain and defend his positions/decisions;
• Good presentation skills;
• Good writing skills English.

ou are able to work in an international environment, both independently and in a team. You work according to the guidelines and procedures but you are also able to make judgment calls, balancing the interests of the user on the one hand and those of the company as a whole on the other. You need to communicate well and you prioritise your tasks whenever you have finished your assigned work.
