Norwegian General Ledger Accountant positions Warsaw DX1111

Client: Our client is a well known and internationally recognised finance company. They offer various financial solutions to many companies in the FTSE500 from admin to cash flow management. They international operations centre in based in Warsaw.

Role: New positions exist for Norwegian General Ledger professionals to join their European Shared Service finance team in Warsaw. The candidate’s tasks will be the reconciliation of the general ledger accounts, you will be responsible for prepare and verify the accuracy of journal entries, perform research and analyse financial data. As a member of this team you will calculate payments, verify documentation and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. In addition you will prepare cash forecast and will be involved in Project Controlling.

Skills: To be considered for the role you will need a minimum of an Accountancy, Economics or Finances degree and 1 year General ledger experience. Candidates with SAP, GAAPs, SOX knowledge and control and reporting standards are preferred. In addition you will need to speak native level Norwegian, with fluent English. Candidates with previous knowledge in a Shared Service Centre environment or international finance operation are preferred as there will be a large number of transactions and processes to understand.
