"The companyOne of the large European retail chains is currently looking for a strong leader of the construction department. Main tasks will include the following: Responsible for procurement, infrastructure and construction of all of superstores activities in Russia. Responsible for entire projects including design, infra-structure and relations with authorities. This will include the following tasks:Working with International design teams preparing concept design, coordinating with local design teams that prepare permit documentation and employers representative arranging the permits. Tendering, evaluation and choice of contractors. Construction process on-site management, quality assurance of process and building materials etc Coordinate the construction process between the Developer, Contractor, Construction company To lead a team of professional engineers of construction in managing the site construction To propose the budget for the general construction package of each project To assess the qualification of the contractors and sub-contractors To make regular and timely report on the construction progress and related matters The candidate Candidates should have at least 3-5 years experience in a managerial position in the construction industry. Candidates need to have a technical education in civil construction and a good understanding and knowledge of Russian building standards. You need to be ready to travel across the region and be able to manage a team of construction professionals."
