Change Management Consultant

The main focus of this role will be to support the implementation of a number of technology and process change programs. The candidate will be responsible for working with project teams to align strategy and manage the required change effectively.
This role has a particular focus on project change management plans concentrated on implementations of 6 projects within the organisation.

Main responsibilities:

The candidate will assess the organization’s readiness for change, manage the overall impact and introduction of change, assess the best fit and co-ordinate and drive for change. They will pro-actively advise and manage the expectations and needs of individual business units, taking into consideration stakeholder management, business engagement, communications, training and job impact / transition. The responsibilities also include:

• Manage elements of the business processes transformation, including stakeholder alignment, training, internal communications, organisation readiness and organisation impact assessments
• Consult with business leaders on established programs in planning and executing change management programs and initiatives

Experience and qualifications:
 University qualifications in Business Management, Human resources or other relevant discipline, the key areas of expertise lie within Business Analysis, Strategy Development and Change Leadership, qualifications in program/ project management will also be well regarded
 Ideally Black Belt certified in Lean Six Sigma and have experience working in complex projects involving the management of multiple stakeholders
 At least 5 years experience in Senior Management & Consulting positions, preferably within public sector and international environment
 Excellent personal presentation and grooming
 Strong work ethic
 Proven ability or experience working with other cultures, working & living abroad and flexibility to adjust to challenging work situations.
 Drive and resilience, particularly with regard to implementing strategy and managing development & change.
 Excellent communication skills in English, ability to formulate and deliver presentations

Important skills:
• Strong communication & relationship skills with clients and employees across diverse cultures; should have excellent negotiating and influencing abilities.
• Experience in designing and implementing communications plans for large scale initiatives;
• Experience in managing large scale change projects;
• Change impact and assessment experience;
• Experience with cross functional, cross culturally and cross graphical change programmes.
• Ability to work on the operational level, defining existing processes and documenting standard operating procedures including scope, control and producing process road maps, whilst applying decision making and conflict management resolution to the process.
