Contracts Manager

With operations in 50 countries and 68,000 employees, this global technology
leader for the aerospace, space, defence, security and transportation markets is looking for an experienced Contract Manager.
The Contract Manager shall be based in project office. He acts as an efficient team Player of assigned Program and contributes in all phases of the program. He performs closely with the Program Manager with double reporting to PMO and to Contracts Director.
Drafting and review of contract Baseline, list Deliverables and Subcontracts and Change orders in close coordination with the Program Manager, the Procurement Manager and the Legal & Contracts Manager and paying particular attention to transfer contractual risks to subcontractors and implement final release agreements with suppliers, using the templates of contract management.
Drafting, record keeping and archiving of all incoming and outgoing correspondences and contractual Communications, including Letters, Minutes of Meetings, Change Orders, covering notes for deliveries and registering a log book/database that can be sorted by Incoming, Outgoing, type of document (Contract, Change Order, Letter, Minutes, etc..) date and subject. Copies of all important documents must be forwarded to the Management.
Proactively Insure that the contractual notifications are done properly and that all documents are duly signed by the company, client and Subcontractors, by the authorized signatories paying particular attention to delegation of authorities and prior approval by CEO for all sensitive issues.
Monitor the compliance of Client and Subcontractors with Contractual Obligations and Milestones, including deliverables, Bank Guarantees, Retentions, etc. in coordination with Cost Controller. Verify the contractual ground of any request or claim by client and subcontractors and alert the Program Manager.
Identify with the Program Manager and Work Package Managers, any opportunity for change orders and alert the Sales Manager.
