Network & 3G Engineer With SDH Experience

Network engineer with a Telco background? Graduate looking for your first big break? This Telecoms giant needs you for a huge 3G roll out project!

This Telco has a proven history to deliver cutting edge technology. They have been actively involved in the roll out of the latest breakthroughs in the Telco industry. As a member of the centralised Mobile Infrastructure Provisioning team, you will be responsible for the provisioning of new 3G Mobile Base Stations, and expansions and rearrangements to the existing Base Station network. This includes such tasks as implementing configuration data into various systems and remote testing with field staff. You will be responsible for performing changes to the current 3G mobile network whilst ensuring changes (software/hardware) are performed in a controlled manner using existing Mobile Infrastructure procedures. You will also be required to establish and maintain quality working relationships with other provisioning teams within the organisation, especially those within the Core Mobile group as well as the Nokia Huawei teams involved in the 3G roll out project.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following key skills:
Degree or associated Diploma in Telecommunications engineering or equivalent. Typically a minimum 2 to 3 years experience in telecommunications network operations/maintenance/provisioning. (Graduates considered). Experience with SDH transmission systems - provisioning and/or maintenance. You must have the ability to communicate very well, both orally and written and have the ability to establish evolve effective inter-personal working relationships. You will be part of a dynamic team working in a changing environment.
