4.0 Job Responsibilities
• To ensure maximum availability of computer systems throughout the company.
• Develop and upgrade the usage of IT in the organization by promoting and providing training to the staff to ensure that IT is used effectively and become a source of competitive advantage.
• Maintain the overall security of data stored in the databases by utilizing relevant tools & technology to ensure that timely, reliable and accurate information is available and protected.
• Plan and coordinate the various business processes by implementing the modules of the BPCS system to ensure that the system provides an effective tool to the planning and decision making in the organization.
• Organize, lead and motivate the personnel of the department by setting objectives and directions and evaluate performance using the annual performance appraisal system to achieve a high level of work efficiency and performance.
5.0 Main Tasks
• Over all operational responsible for the IT activities in the company.
• Participate in the regional / corporate IT meetings to management meetings to ensure regional local IT needs are integrated into the corporate / regional IT strategy.
• Obtain management information by developing and maintaining information systems to enable the management to make the right decisions based on the right information.
• Selection and installation of hardware, software and solutions ensuring legal compliance in terms of copyright.
• Liaison with local internet and infrastructure solution providers, hardware & software vendors for their maintenance.
• Ensure the maintenance of proper backups.
