Basler & Hofmann Singapore is an independent engineering, planning and consulting firm active in the fields of construction engineering and biorisks consulting. The continuous threat of highly infectious diseases – some century-old and some new or re-emerging –  require that teaching, diagnostic and research laboratories work with the biohazardous agents. Together with the increasing safety and security awareness in the public, this creates a high demand in biorisk services, which Basler & Hofmann is capable to deliver. We cover all aspects that revolve around high biosafety containment facilities, including planning, design, delivery of training, construction supervision, commissioning, certifications, bio-risk management systems, and safety audits and reviews. Biocontainment Engineer (m/f)

You should have a masters degree in mechanical engineering (HVAC). Ideally, you have a track record as a high biocontainment, vivarium or clean room engineer and/or project manager. To be successful in this position, very good English language skills - written and spoken - and a talent to acquire new clients and connect with them are indispensable. In addition, you should have an understanding of biorisk management and operation of high biocontainment laboratories.

Therefore, travelling around and meeting partners all over the continent is part of the job description. The conditions of employment correspond to the responsibility and complexity of this job.
