Recruitment Consultant

“Arbeiten in Kapstadt” is an innovative recruitment agency, specialized in the placement of german speaking candidates in permanent and temporary contracts with clients around the Western Province.

We are now looking for a self driven, highly motivated Junior Recruitment Consultant to join our Cape Town based office.

An “Arbeiten in Kapstadt” Consultant is the intermediary between Organizations wishing to recruit (the client) and the individual seeking a career move or permanent assignment (the candidate).

The rule as an Consultant involves:

- identify and develop client business/relationships in a competitive environment
- contribute to the attraction of candidates and maintain the candidate database
- assess and respond to the needs of each particular client or assignment
- source suitable candidates and brief them on the opportunities offered by the client
- manage the process through interview to offer stage and beyond
- offer CV, interview and general career advice
- providing a professional and consultative service to both clients and candidates
- ensuring peripheral arrangements such as interview times, dates, job descriptions etc. are in place and communicated to all relevant parties
- working as an integral part of a team focusing in the broader day to day issues of business development, effective communication, systems & procedures, training and proactively maximizing commercial performance

You should make maximum use of your time to achieve your individual and business potential through activity, energy and persistency.

We are looking for:

- Bachelors degree or similar
- Prior internship/work experience in sales, marketing, recruitment or human resources environment
- PC literate in Windows environment incl. MS Word/Excel and Internet
- Must be fluent written and oral in German and English
- Highly motivated and fast learner
- Professional and personable manner
- Soft skilled
