REGULATORY TOXICOLOGY EXPERT - Human Health and Risk Assessment, Basel - 100 000 - 140 000 Swiss Francs / €80 000 - €95 000.

This recently established department and governmental organisation has been set up to be a leader and main contact for human toxicology. By carrying out research and providing regulatory seminars, they aim to build a knowledge centre for human toxicology. Joining as an expert will allow you to gain a reputable name within the industry and act as an advisor counsellor to the Swiss regulatory authorities. This will therefore assist the Pharmaceutical, Biocide and Chemical industry.

Your responsibility will involve using scientific knowledge to provide advise and opinions on chemical and drug safety aspects to the health authorities.

You will be expected to research new developments in human toxicology and advice on the regulatory decision process.

You will deal with queries from parties, build a network and specialist and represent the Swiss toxicology groups.

You will work closely with universities, offering assistance and guidance on Toxicology Master Courses.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

You will be required to have a PhD in Toxicology
Experience in drug safety or chemical risk assessment
Pharmaceutical or Chemical background. Environmental toxicology will not be the right background.
Proven track record in these areas.
Strong network base
Fluent in English (essential). To be able to speak German or French is a bonus.
