Strategic Supplier Relationship Management

Our Client, a leading Agrochemicals manufacturer, seeks a Strategic Supplier Relationship Management This is a developmental role within the IS Strategic Supplier Group of our client. The role will manage, develop and supervise complex relationships with specified IS suppliers and company stakeholders, ensure that contracts meet the Company needs and support both IS Strategic Relationship Managers and IS Delivery Managers in their work with suppliers. Responsibilities: • Sense and understand the interactions of suppliers across IS and business and deploy strategies for managing the suppliers to the benefit of both parties e.g. coaching the business and IS in supplier ways of working; anticipating supplier intentions for Company; channelling supplier energy in the right direction to add value to Company. • In conjunction with the IS Senior Supplier Manager, manage the relationships with suppliers in a partnership approach to bring value to new and existing opportunities and coach their interaction with the business to provide win/win offers. • Implement and monitor benchmarked contract management processes and service metrics to meet the business needs for now and the foreseeable future to ensure the suppliers and Company meet contractual obligations • Work with IS delivery managers and suppliers to drive continuous efficiency to free-up funds for investment in new projects ensuring maximum value from spend with suppliers • Support IS Delivery Managers in their work with suppliers • Work with IS Delivery Managers and the IS Portfolio Managers to forecast demand for specified 3rd party services and share this with the suppliers • Manage issues escalated by IS Delivery Managers or suppliers
