Senior Security Engineer Operator

My client are a large international player in the telecommunications market

The Role:

Installation, configuration, management and monitoring of my clients CheckPoint, Cisco ASA/PIX and WatchGuard Firewalls.
Installation, configuration, management and monitoring of IPS/IDS.
Deployment and development of the Interoute Security Products, supporting sales staff and customers.
Perform occasional "out of hours" maintenance on security products.
Perform SOC/M2 on-call duties (1 week in 4).
Maintain accurate documentation and records of customer systems and trouble tickets.
Other duties as required by Line Manager.
The Person:

Highly service oriented with customer facing skills.
Ability to work in a team, with little supervision and using own initiative.
Flexible approach; able to work under pressure and occasional extended hours.
Required to participate in an on-call rotation.
Skills, Knowledge And Experience:

Excellent knowledge of network technologies, TCP/IP, NAT, IPSEC.
Strongest skills in ISS Site Protector and CheckPoint installations, configurations and operations.
Min. 4 years experience working with Firewall products like CheckPoint or Cisco ASA/PIX.
Basic-Intermediate knowledge of Watchguard, Fortinet.
IDS/IPS products, particularly ISS Site Protector, sound installation understanding and alert management.
Cisco Router IPSEC configuration and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Web and mail filtering technologies.
Well rounded knowledge of Network Security.
English required
