MS Axapta Business Consultant (FICO & Business Warehouse)

For a major project in Zurich we are looking for a Business Consultant with Microsoft Axapta experience.

The successful candidate is a person with experience in providing IT-based support for the business as well as deep knowledge in financial processes and possibly Microsoft Axapta within a multinational company (knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office tools is a must).

This project consists in an initial pilot project within IT that will be implemented and than rolled out in all Business Units (timeframe ca 18 months), reporting to the GPM (global project manager).

Your main duty consist (full responsibility) in planning, testing and configuration of back office applications. You will create guidelines on how to use and configure the application in an effective and efficient way as well as managing the coordination between vendors and internal support departments.

We are looking for someone able coordinate initially 4 resources (4 financial super users). Although really an IT functional expert in financial you must be able to discuss and push the final solution (after the pilot project will get the green light as chosen solution) with internal sponsors and with the IT and financial staff of all involved Business Units (locally / international)

As you will be working within a team made up from both local and international members we expect you to be strong in the areas of communication, presentation and initiative, be self-motivated and able to manage appointed tasks effectively.

Given that the project will involve different countries we need someone able to make sure that the solution will be accepted everywhere (allowing only the strictly necessary modifications) using the above mentioned great soft skills.

Ideally you will have excellent English and German skills (verbal and written).
